Ura Sarfejoo M.AIRAH

We say a bittersweet goodbye to outgoing President Paul Jackson F.AIRAH and outgoing Director Ura Sarfejoo, M.AIRAH.

Paul has been an AIRAH member for over twenty years, during which time he has been a highly active supporter of AIRAH's advocacy activities, provider of expert-level technical advice, and all-around positive industry figure. We thank Paul for his years of service on the board.

Ura has been an invaluable AIRAH member for the past eight years, during which time she has championed diversity in the HVAC&R industry, sitting as the Associate Director of the Women of AIRAH STG. We thank Ura for her years of service on the board.

The path forward for AIRAH

Since launching our updated strategic direction, we have made great progress toward the three outlined major goals.

We have had a strong year of advocacy activity, driven by a change in resource allocation with Mark Vender moving from part-time work on HVAC&R News to his new full-time focus as Advocacy and Policy Manager.

We have begun and will continue to improve our digital offerings, modernised the AIRAH brand, and worked hard to raise the profile and visibility of the industry as a whole.

We have also made strides toward closing knowledge gaps, and fostering strong collaboration between organisations and individuals within the HVAC&R industry, related industries, and in tangential sectors such as government and education.

We will continue pushing forward in line with our strategic direction to improve outcomes for our members, our industry, and the world that all live on and share together.
