AIRAH has submitted comments on the National Construction Code 2025 Public Comment Draft.

The input from AIRAH members was vital in preparing this submission and we would like to thank those who participated in the webinars and provided feedback on AIRAH’s draft submission.

As well as many specific suggestions for changes to clauses, there was a large volume of feedback on some aspects of the PCD, particularly in Section J. These comments were outside the scope of the Public Comment Draft review, and we have flagged the need for further consultation with the ABCB.

Where appropriate, we have identified issues that will be better addressed in the form of Proposals For Change with the ABCB. We plan to progress this work in the coming months.
