AIRAH has made a submission to Safe Work Australia on the draft model Code of Practice for managing the risks of biological hazards at work.

Our feedback, led by the Indoor Air Quality Special Technical Group (IAQ STG), emphasises the importance of maintaining and cleaning HVAC systems to reduce the risk of biological hazards. We also provided detailed input on the ventilation guidance in the draft code.

This submission reflects AIRAH’s commitment to safe, healthy and productive indoor environments – and to ensuring our industry’s voice is heard in shaping national policy.
