Connecting women worldwide in the cooling sector through free mentorship programme
To celebrate International Women's Day, the International Network of Women in Cooling (INWIC) has launched its Mentorship Programme. This free online service aims to connect women professionals in the refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heat pumps (RACHP) sector globally, fostering knowledge exchange and career development.
The purpose of the program is to build a skilled and empowered workforce by offering an accessible platform for women and is designed to be inclusive and accessible to professionals at all levels, such as technicians, engineers, managers, and industry leaders. The program's global reach also connects mentees with experienced professionals from around the world, facilitating the exchange of expertise and fresh perspectives across borders.
Mikaila Ganado, INWIC President-Elect and AIRAH President, says, “This initiative is pivotal in connecting professionals globally, providing a free platform for women who may not otherwise have access to mentors and offering connection and invaluable insights from industry professionals worldwide. I am confident the program will facilitate long-term change, yielding benefits for both the RACHP industry and the communities in which we live.”
Women from the cooling sector are invited to join as mentors or mentees. Find out how to participate in this free program.
