AIRAH has mapped out the policies, processes and projects it believes government should support in the next Federal Budget.

To support the wellbeing of building occupants, AIRAH recommends a focus on indoor air quality and HVAC&R resilience.

To make HVAC&R systems more sustainable, AIRAH highlights important work that government can do around refrigerant transition, building sustainability and maintenance and tuning.

And to guarantee a capable workforce, AIRAH proposes initiatives for registration and licensing, and attracting and retaining talent in the HVAC&R industry, including improving diversity and inclusion.
