William Lane F.AIRAH will provide an initial overview of why HEPA filters are tested, and the reasoning behind it including: Particle size and Filter performance, scan test / efficiency test and potentially a quick touch brief on HEGA filters and testing (gaseous containment).

Justin Rowe, Certified NATA Field Service Technician / Manager, Camfil Australia, Affil.AIRAH, Nick Ristevski, Certified NATA Field Service Technician, Camfil Australia, and Kristian Kirwin, National Engineering Manager, Camfil Australia Affil.AIRAH, will lead a practical demonstration of HEPA terminal module testing (demonstration rig used), including:

Exhaust HEPA terminal module, low level testing (demonstration rig used). During the testing various aspects will be discussed, access, loss of exhaust suction, introduction of test aerosol, mixing, access

 Inline HEPA housing testing (A Bag in-Bag out Housing will be used with a remote scan system) During the testing various aspects will be discussed, including access, test methodology, direct scanning, use of safety bags, remote scan systems.

 Demonstration of Bag in Bag out procedure for Pre and HEPA filters.

Discussion and questions are invited during the practical presentation.

 The evening will conclude with networking and light refreshments.
